Xangan of the Year
This is not your typical high school superlative. I don't want your opinion on who is the most popular on here. I want to hear who you appreciate for a post they did or a comment they left you or a friendship you've enjoyed on here this past year. Who do you go to to get a laugh? Who lifts your spirits and encourages you? Who can jerk your tears or make you feel every word they say? Who do you most look forward to comments from? They don't have to be well known on here or have a featured post or even be on here much- all that's required is that you appreciate their existence on here. Tell me who, tell me why (share examples if you can think of specific ones)- and THEN go tell them.
Now let the warm fuzzies roll!
PS: you don't have to pick just one, but I would like to know why you chose who you chose.
*Edit* who'd have thunk this would get featured?! Well at this rate, expect my next big break in about 3 years, lol!

@SnippiesBlog - gasp! I thought I was part of the oreo!
I probably have to say lovesporks. She has this witty sense of humor, incredible diction, and a voice of her own. Not to mention she writes about her day to day life, and even the most minuscule things seem interesting. She's down to earth, and ordinary, but she has a brilliant style. I live vicariously through her.
I really enjoy the blogs of lovesporks and longdistanceletters - once known as audrina_lake.
lovesporks (love sporks, not loves porks) has a very unique writing style, distinct. Her word choice, and emotions placed into every syllable and phrase leaves a lasting impact, despite how common (or lack, thereof) may be.
longdistanceletters writes what is on her mind, and spaces her words and phrases the way she would think.
cool beans, i like this idea. i vote longdistanceletters. i absolutely adore her writing style.

bittersunday is such a strong woman and she has helped me in so many ways.
undertheglass, I just started reading her site not too long ago and already, she amazes me.
Kayla (death_by_chocolat). She reminds me what words can do for someone and to someone. She can turn a boring day into a enthralling tale, or a depressing feeling into an entire character. She inspires me to write more. So glad I found you Kayla.

im_a_teacher - I met her on one of my anonymous accounts (that I've since deleted), so she doesn't even know me on this s/n, but I loved reading about her getting ready for her first year of teaching! also, she gave me tons of insight into my relationship w/my then-bf. I appreciate her so much for that!
TheOriginalImperial - she doesn't post all the time, but when she does, she always has something important to say. she's a really great writer, and you always feel like you're experiencing what she's experiencing when she writes.
FemaleTrumpet02 - one of my friends from junior girl scouts that I reconnected with here on xanga. she's the only xangan on my subs who posts every single day, so I gotta give her props for her xanga addiction, lol
dough1boy7 - my ex-bf and my bff, the only person who actually reads my blog, and if I ever get a comment on a post (haha, right) it'll be from him. he's another who doesn't post often, but when he does it's meaningful. he's a great writer even though he doesn't try to be. he just writes what's on his mind, and wow is it deep.
cre13 - because of her work on xanga secret santa (even tho I didn't get my virtual gift from mine, but that's not her fault!). she put in tons of hours of work for our enjoyment and I can't thank her enough!
This is a great idea, it's a break from all the negativity I've been seeing on Xanga lately. I never thought I'd get a vote because the quality and the quantity of my posts have been declining, but that's Nori for ya (Avenuetothereal). As for my vote, I say thatonegirlvalerie. Although she probably hasn't been featured for anything, I love reading her posts. The way she writes is just amazing, and very touching to the reader. She's had her ups, her downs, and still comes out strong. I think she's amazing. I don't comment on her page much, but I think she's a great- no, amazing- writer.

TheTheologiansCafe -- I've been subscribed to him for about three years and he has never ceased to make me laugh and I almost always comment, even though I get sooo behind on that :)
